Auto Dealer Solutions (ADS) consists of Jason Grieves
as the principal and
your contact for all customer contact and
program management. ADS draws on resources from
its alliance partner companies where necessary
to assist and deliver elements of services.
Employment
history of Jason Grieves.
Jason has two and half decades experience in and around
Motor Dealer Service Departments, which from
1993 includes
being in management positions responsible for group Service Dept Sales &
Marketing, Dealer IT Development (During the
Internet Revolution of the mid 90's), Customer
Relations and New Car & Service Department
operational management consultancy delivery.
Jason started employment as an Automotive
Technician at City Ford in January 1985. At the
time it was Victoria's largest Ford Dealer which
was a period when
Ford dominated market share. In 1989
he completed his apprenticeship which included
studies at the Newport Technical college. Soon
after his qualification, he moved from the shop
floor and took up other positions in the service
department which included: workshop controller, service advisor,
cost clerk, road tester and foreman. In 1993 he
was promoted into a new position as Service
Sales Manager to develop corporate relationships
for the multiple auto franchises the company
City Motor Holdings (CMH) owned and operated. He
worked closely with the Fleet Sales team and
established business relationships with these staff
and began to understand the sales processes
which are important to new car department operations.
The internet arrived in 1995 and with his
technical ability he quickly added a new roll of
responsibility which involved building a
computer network for the group of motor
franchises across Melbourne. This
position extended further where he was also in
charge of the
customer relations department. Jason built
relationships with key corporate customers,
suppliers for web site creation, computer
networking, computer hardware suppliers and
repairers and computer programmers.
In early February 2002 Jason was approached by a company
"Fuel Marketing" and subsequently resigned from CMH to take up a position
as an operational management consultant. During
his time at Fuel Marketing he was part of an organisation which specialised in the
marketing of niche products for all
industries Australia wide. Jason's position, as
an operations consultant, involved him
evaluating Service and Sales department
operations for motor dealerships across
Australia. Jason conducted operations reviews
which included staff training and development to
meet the needs of a standardised department
operation program.
Constant travel and a young family forced Jason
to resign in November
of 2002 and from here he developed brand new
marketing programs to used by Auto Dealer Solutions
and its clients. To this day Auto Dealer
Solutions continues to deliver unique database
marketing services currently being used by over
20 dealers in Melbourne and Sydney.
In December 2005 to complement and grow his
business interests (in addition to Auto Dealer
Solutions), Jason started up JSN Alliance as a
joint venture with one other director where each
owned a 50% share holding. This joint
venture was successful primarily off the back of
the programs delivered by Auto Dealer Solutions. JSN Alliance serviced the needs of over 20
dealerships who all could see
the benefits of the programs developed by Jason
Grieves. Dealer customers of this joint venture
were located in Melbourne, the La Trobe Valley,
Canberra and Sydney. In late 2007, with JSN
Alliance still growing, the company was closed
down so both directors could go off in their own
direction.
Jason Grieves
has Service Department knowledge
which spans more than 23 years, he completely
understands the management principals, its
people from ground up, and every process and how
they integrate to make a service department
function. There are few in this industry (those
who work as marketing service providers) who can
honestly claim this.
